Tillaman serenaded us with his voice, the high-pitched adlibs no-one else dared try and the diversity in delivery times over. He made hits after hits and in his quest for that ultimate spotlight, he even bagged a political honor/appointment as Youth Musical ambassador in his home-state, Oyo State. Tillaman however did not become that ultimate superstar, that household name, that most-loved artiste. Not because he didn’t try hard enough, but because the brand needed to come of age.
Hence, the birth of TILLA (formerly known as TILLAMAN). The new MAN, the new BRAND, the new IDENTITY.
TILLA is everything TILLAMAN was, in higher measures, and a lot more. Not only are we just about to experience the VOICE in all its richness and strength at ranges and pitches unimaginable, we’re also just about to meet the sweet, smooth, sensual and sexy gentleman that is the new man, TILLA.
All name labels and other representations will henceforth bear the name “TILLA” instead of “TILLAMAN”.
TILLA also recently teamed up with producer J-Fem (best known for producing W4′s monster-hit, Kontrol) and in introducing us to the new man TILLA as well as this new musical synergy between him and J-Fem, below are links to two new singles from their collective efforts. The songs are both mastered by Foster Zeeno.

Eva Alordiah has had a good year so far, in terms of the quality of content she’s been dishing out. She kick-started the year with “DEAF” and followed it up with “SHUGA”; both getting rave reviews here on NJO and across the blogosphere.
Now the 2014 ‘Best Rap Act‘ and ‘Female Artist of the Year‘ nominee at the NEAs decides to hop on Ice Prince and Sarkodie’s “Shots on Shots“, and as usual, she slays it from start to finish. I bet Ice would be wondering why he didn’t get her on the original in the first place.
Eva is set to release a new single this month and is wrapping up her debut album already stated for an August release. For now, enjoy this dope rap cut.

“It is Mbryo‘s birthday today May 27th and he chooses to premier this video“Parole”
The video concept is different from your normal Nigerian video. ” It is abstract and we know that is a risk going by what Nigerians are used to seeing in music videos, but what is life without risk” says THE DIRECTOR AK-ONE.”

Popular Nigerian singer, Omawumi has collaborated with talented Cameroon-born singer, Wax Dey to deliver this amazing new single titled Forever.
Both artistes, Omawumi and Wax Dey were part of the historic hit, Cocoa na Chocolate featuring 19 artistes across Africa including D’Banj, Femi Kuti and Kunle Ayo.This highly melodious new song has Wax Dey and Omawumi’s voice lilt and swing over the drum-heavy beat. It is definitely a song for everybody.
We can definitely call this collaboration the best of two worlds. Omawumi is arguably the biggest female artiste in Nigeria and she definitely needs little or no introduction across board. Also, Wax Dey who was nominated for Best Male Artist, Best R&B and Best International Collaboration at the Cameroon Entertainment Awards had his popular hit, ‘Miss Real, Mr Regular’ remixed by local South-African rappers and House Djs appearing on SONY Music’s 2010 ONE AFRICA All Stars and several other top compilations.
Wax Dey will also be working with D’Banj’s DB Records in the nearest future as talks are in the concluding stage. He has recently been working with DB Records in Nigeria.
